For the first time ever, hard soils were created that could hold on to weeds very well. The rocky coasts of Zeeland became a fact. Now there are about 220 species.
The harvesting of weeds is not permitted without a permit, just like glasswort and sea lavender. The province of Zeeland has so far granted a permit to a handful of entrepreneurs under strict conditions.
